Creating a Holiday Capsule Wardrobe

It's December! I feel like I am still getting used to November, LOL.

I guess it's time to start thinking about what to wear to all the holiday parties and get-togethers. Will you be hanging out with friends or going to fancy Christmas parties this year?

Even if you are a write-at-home mom like me, you still may want to create a casual holiday capsule so you still can celebrate the season in style. The thing to remember is to keep it simple! Pair new holiday tops or cardigans with neutral pieces you already have.

And stay within your season. There are plenty of options available for your coloring.

Here's a holiday capsule wardrobe I created that may give you some ideas to get you started. And on Thursday, we'll look at more tips for your planning your holiday capsule wardrobe.

As for me, I doubt I will be attending any holiday parties this year but will be using my holiday capsule for when I am out and about, and when I am getting together with family.

My main concern is wearing Christmasy colors in a way that works for me.

What have you got planned this season?

"When we find the set that enhances you above all the others, what we have really uncovered are the exact pigments already in your skin, in your body. When you then wear the colors you already are, you look like magic because your person and your attire is sending the same wavelength of energy to the viewer." ~~Christine Scaman, 12 Blueprints
