Are you more like Jackie or Marilyn?
Take the quiz and find out! I took it and though my answers were nearly equal, I was slightly more Marilyn. :) So naturally, I decided to get the book to learn more...

What I learned from the book: the importance of developing your own signature style! She does describe what makes each woman tick and gives lots of helpful tips about how to be more like each one or a combo of both. But she has a good argument for going beyond just having a good sense of style to creating a style that is typically you, a signature style.
"When it comes to achieving Jackie or Marilyn mystique, 98 percent of the endeavor hinges on having a signature style~a style that you might actually possess at the moment or one that you aspire to." --Pamela Keogh

What's your signature style?
Do you have a signature style or aspire to have one? I pondered for myself what signature style I might aspire to and what the elements would be of that style. My basic formula would be long-over-lean with dusters or long sweater dresses and skinny pants.
What about you?

"When we find the set that enhances you above all the others, what we have really uncovered are the exact pigments already in your skin, in your body. When you then wear the colors you already are, you look like magic because your person and your attire is sending the same wavelength of energy to the viewer." ~~Christine Scaman, 12 Blueprints

What a shock that I tested much more Marilyn than Jackie. I don't think that I really have much of a signature style -- except I never saw a beaded cardigan that I didn't love.
ReplyDeleteHope you are enjoying the holidays, Jeanine!
How cool, Ann! Yes, I am. I hope you are having a great holiday experience, too!
DeleteHi Jeanine,
ReplyDeleteThank for posting this. But for nearly every question in the quiz my answer was "none of the above". Hmmmm. Not sure what that says about me. Happy New Year!
Hi Donna! LOL!! I have taken quizzes like that, too, where there just weren't enough choices. Maybe you are more like another dazzlingly beautiful celebrity, instead. Happy New Year to you, too!
