November: The Warmth of Hearth & Home

November? Really??

I can't believe it's November, already, can you? October just flew by while I wasn't looking. I can tell that time marches on because it gets dark sooner and it is beginning to cool off in the evenings (mornings, too). But I still might not believe it if I didn't see it on the calendar!

What are you planning for the month?

This season, in general, is my favorite: the warm-up to Thanksgiving and Christmas, the most wonderful time of the year. There are more heartwarming movies to watch and lots of yummy food (like that apple pie) showing up on the table. My thoughts and my energies turn inward toward the warmth of hearth and home.

How about you?

Here are my new goals for the month of November...

For my 1st goal, I have quite possibly gone completely off the deep end! :)

(1) I am committing to doing something meditational/yoga-ish for 15-20 minutes a day! (Yikes)...I started today, though and must say, I did enjoy it. So maybe I'm only a little crazy.

(2) Develop a strategy for the remainder of the year: writing blog posts, when to promote my new ebook, Start with Ten and work on new projects I have planned. I am thinking to launch the new stuff in January but need to solidify that plan.

(3) Choose a "home improvement" goal for the month: might be decluttering, might be getting new flannel sheets, or it could be something else.

What are your new goals this month?

  3. I also do stretches for ten minutes a day. It's not yoga but it really seems to help me feel better.

    1. Hi Eileen! It makes me feel better, too!! My yoga routine starts out with stretches and sometimes, that's all I get around to, but still, I feel much better.

    1. Hi Mandy! Thanks!! Me, too, and I am really leaning toward that one, especially as it begins to get a bit colder here. Hey, I would love to come visit your blog, but am not sure where to find it. I can't seem to get to it from your Google page.
