Another Look at Deep Autumn

Are You a Deep Autumn?...

You might be a deep autumn if ...

(1) You have dark hair: golden dark brown, chestnut, charcoal brown, brown-black

(2) You have dark eyes: golden brown, topaz, dark brown

(3) You have warm skin: golden beige, golden brown, red brown, bronze

A Deep Autumn Celebrity Couple...

If you remember from my White House series over the summer, the President and Mrs. Obama are both 12-season deep autumns, and in the Color Alliance system, they are both vivid rich autumns.

Vivid rich autumn is a bright autumn season (my season, too), so bright autumns in a 16-season system can be deep autumns (or warm autumns leaning deep, perhaps) in a 12-season system.

Notice with this picture here, that though he is neutral, as all deep autumns are, the coloring of his hand clearly harmonizes better with the warm colors of the Bible and his wife's gloves than with the cooler color of his suit.

And here, you can see how beautiful Michelle looks in her warm eggplant gown. Definitely a lovely deep/bright autumn color!!

Deep Autumn Color Palette...

Here is Michelle Obama's vivid rich (or deep) autumn color palette...

And here is my son's vivid rich autumn color palette. In Color Alliance, they are personalized to the client's coloring, but you can see the similarities...

And here I am, in deep autumn/bright autumn outfits, with my vivid rich autumn color palette...

So what do you think? Are you a deep autumn?

I am linking up today with Nicole from Momtrends for this week's Monday Mingle and to Not Dead, Yet Style for Visible Monday. On Wednesday, I plan to link up with Lindsey at The Pleated Poppy for What I Wore Wednesday, and to Melaina at Transatlantic Blonde for What I Wore Wednesday.

"When we find the set that enhances you above all the others, what we have really uncovered are the exact pigments already in your skin, in your body. When you then wear the colors you already are, you look like magic because your person and your attire is sending the same wavelength of energy to the viewer." ~~Christine Scaman, 12 Blueprints
