My New Goals for August

(1) Pick a book to read or finish and journal about it: It might be Eat, Pray, Love or The Answer is Simple or another one altogether. Haven't decided yet!

(2) Homeschool planning: as always, I have left it for this month, but hopefully, I can get it done in a month. At least the outline for the year, but hopefully, even more specific planning, week by week, and month by month.

Here's one book we'll be using...

(3) Create a fall capsule wardrobe: I feel more settled in my seasonal colors and fashion feng shui style, so now it's time to get absolutely clear about what I am going to wear.

(4) Go see 2 Days in NY: Adding this goal because I hope it will force me to actually go to the movies this month. I always say I'm going to go but then I never do. Yes, what happened in Aurora makes me a little nervous but I don't think a Chris Rock movie is a likely draw for a violent outbreak.

How are you feeling about the movies these days?

And what are your goals for August?

"When we find the set that enhances you above all the others, what we have really uncovered are the exact pigments already in your skin, in your body. When you then wear the colors you already are, you look like magic because your person and your attire is sending the same wavelength of energy to the viewer." ~~Christine Scaman, 12 Blueprints

  1. These are great August goals!! I also leave most of my planning until August. Something about just needing time away in July.
I still love the movies. We don't go as often as I would like but that is just because either we are lazy (we live 45 min away from the nearest movie theatre) or simply because nothing is showing that we want to see.

  3. That is a great book about Greek mythology! My oldest daughter (Sophia) loves reading the stories from it. That's a wonderful idea to include seeing a movie. I don't remember the last one I saw in a theater.
