White House Series: President Barack Obama ~ Color Analysis

Is it just me, or does he have absolutely beautiful coloring!! And look at his eyes. Just gorgeous. What a pleasure it was to identify his season and his color palette.

Just like Michelle, he is a Vivid Rich Autumn. And if I'd ordered a lifestyle palette for him like I did for her, we'd see similar colors, but slightly different since they would be tied to his unique coloring. Instead, I ordered a professional palette for him.

The Professional Palettes are slightly different than the regular ones. I ordered a Professional Palette for him so that I could recommend suit-and-tie, and shirt-and-tie combinations. Though Color Alliance also makes them for women, I thought Michelle could just do just fine with the lifestyle palette.

And here is Barack Obama's color palette. In the next two weeks, we'll take a look at style advice for the Obamas, and I'll offer suggestions about what they might include in a campaign capsule wardrobe.

I am linking up today to Momtrends for this week's Monday Mingle and to Not Dead, Yet Style for Visible Monday. On Wednesday, I will link up with Lindsey at The Pleated Poppy for What I Wore Wednesday, and to Melaina at Transatlantic Blonde for What I Wore Wednesday.

"When we find the set that enhances you above all the others, what we have really uncovered are the exact pigments already in your skin, in your body. When you then wear the colors you already are, you look like magic because your person and your attire is sending the same wavelength of energy to the viewer." ~~Christine Scaman, 12 Blueprints

  3. What an interesting idea for a series of post. I actually heard the President speak late last year in a small town in Kansas--and it was a dark suit and blue shirt, but the tie escapes my memory at the moment.

    1. Thanks, Terri! I haven't ever heard him speak in person. LOL, who remembers the tie, right?

  5. I love that last portrait of the President. The last time I was in DC it was because we flew back for his inauguration :) I'm got a long rambling blog post about it somewhere!
