June Goals: How Did You Do this Month?

(1) Read my attachment parenting book and choose the first things I want to try as a way of strengthening my relationship with my son.

I'm thinking about August for this goal. Because it would be a great partner for my homeschool planning, I think. Certainly didn't happen this month! :)

(2) Create 5 or 6 healthier meals and try each one, spending the time with my son cooking them. My goal in general is to cook at least one meal together each day and I am sort of weaving these two goals together.

I feel good about what I did with this goal! And this week was no different. Now, there is still room for improvement, but what I am pleased with is that I kept at it and made progress.

(3) Order the Vivid Rich Autumn color palette and create a capsule wardrobe that includes vivid autumn colors and incorporates what I am learning in my Fashion Feng Shui class.

Though I am still working on this one, I feel good about the progress I made this month and am looking forward to continuing with it.

So I feel good about this month overall!

How did your month go?

    1. Hi Shonda! Thanks!! I have found it to be a lot more fun than I thought it would be, for both of us. And I doubt very seriously that you are a frumpy mom!

  2. Way to go!! Once it gets hot, I really struggle with new recipes to try - I just use easy favs that we all like and I know my girls will eat.

I'm checking out that book on Amazon.

  3. You did great this month with your goals! I need to cook more with my children, especially since one of my longterm goals is to have them cook supper for the family. I know that won't happen for a few years, but it never will if I don't start now. Keep up the good work!

    1. Thanks, Nikki!! That's a great goal. I have it, as well, and since my son likes to cook, it just might happen. :)

  4. I love how you wove two goals together. It is a nice way to avoid compartmentalizing our life. Such a nice way to approach bringing our loved ones into other facets of out thoughts and work. Great goals!

    1. Thanks so much, Stephanie!! I knew weaving them together would make the "healthy" part of the goal more appetizing. :)
