My Goals for April

(1) Creating a new color analysis ecourse: Because of some other things that are coming up, I need to get this done this month! So one change I'm going to make is to post here only on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays. I'm excited about it, but a bit overwhelmed, too!

(2) Shopping diet: this month's challenging project has to do with my budget. I'm saving up for something and am really wanting to avoid anything extraneous!

(3) Spending time with my son: sometimes work wins out more often than I intend, and I want to make a concentrated effort to make sure I spend quality time with him beyond homeschooling and on weekends.

(4) New eating plan: one of the ladies in our 3 in 30 group regularly cheats by having SIX goals each month, so I figure I can have four if I want to, just this once. :) This month, I am trying an eating plan that requires no crap whatsoever, and urges organic/natural food. So I'm weeding out the junk, and also trying to make sure each meal has protein and carbs and fat.

What are your goals this month?

Have a wonderful Easter weekend! Just thought I'd share my Easter playlist with you...

Thursday: Love You with My Life (with lyrics)
Friday: Were You There When They Crucified My Lord? (instrumental, guitar)
Sunday: The Easter Song (with lyrics)

Having trouble deciding which season you are? I'd be happy to help!

Warm Autumn:“This woman never pretends. She won’t say something just to flatter you unless she believes it to be true. She cries harder than anyone at a funeral. She is fiercely loyal to her family but will not spare them hard work or spoil them with extravagance. She may seem to absorb a lot of demands but when she draws the line at enough, everyone knows it.” ~~Christine Scaman, 12 Blueprints

Deep Autumn:"Sensible and straightforward as all Autumns, but direct in speech, and quick to absorb change with good evidence, they speak honestly and bluntly. What I love most, I believe, is that they are not one bit threatened or defensive about new ideas. The person may demonstrate more of Winter’s reserve, or more of Autumn’s passive and natural way, but there is always an element of fire." ~~Christine Scaman, 12 Blueprints

  1. 4 goals you rebel. :D
    These are great goals. I love your shopping diet one. I might need to use that one for the next several months as we are busy saving for something very special.
    I hope you have a very blessed Easter. I also hope your Easter outfit was a huge success.

    1. Thanks, Sherri! LOL!! I know, I'm rebelling. I hope you have a blessed Easter, too.

  2. Look at you go!! LOL!! I had a hard time picking THREE and you had to go and pick FOUR! {grin}

    What are you saving up for???! {I am SO nosy!}

    1. LOL, Aurie!! I'm saving up for a rather expensive training I want to take.

  3. I'm particularly excited to read more about your fourth goal - the healthy eating one - throughout April.

    As I was cleaning my desk this weekend, I came across a clipping from Oprah's magazine that talked about ways to purge your kitchen of unhealthy food. Apparently if anything ends in -ose, or -ol, or has "sugar" as one of the first three ingredients, it shouldn't be in your cupboard. It's not good for you. (Honestly, I'm afraid to do this...probably quite a bit of food might be coming out of my cupboards.)

    Hope you had a wonderful Easter!

    1. Yeah, that might be a bit more ambitious than I am ready for, but I am aiming in that direction! Thanks so much for stopping by. We can cheer each other on to healthier pursuits this month.
