Seasonal Color Analysis in the White House: Which Season is the President?

As I mentioned earlier this week, I am honoring Black History month this week, so I wanted to take another look at our deep autumn couple in the White House.

A Deep Autumn Celebrity Couple...

Notice with this picture here, that though he is neutral, as all deep autumns are, the coloring of his hand clearly harmonizes better with the warm colors of the Bible and his wife's gloves than with the cooler color of his suit.

And here, you can see how beautiful Michelle looks in her warm eggplant gown. Definitely a lovely deep autumn color!! They make a beautiful couple and even their coloring is in harmony.

Warm Autumn:“This woman never pretends. She won’t say something just to flatter you unless she believes it to be true. She cries harder than anyone at a funeral. She is fiercely loyal to her family but will not spare them hard work or spoil them with extravagance. She may seem to absorb a lot of demands but when she draws the line at enough, everyone knows it.” ~~Christine Scaman, 12 Blueprints

Deep Autumn:"Sensible and straightforward as all Autumns, but direct in speech, and quick to absorb change with good evidence, they speak honestly and bluntly. What I love most, I believe, is that they are not one bit threatened or defensive about new ideas. The person may demonstrate more of Winter’s reserve, or more of Autumn’s passive and natural way, but there is always an element of fire." ~~Christine Scaman, 12 Blueprints

  1. I really enjoy your posts for their examples of color! I'm curious thought - what color extractor program do you use to give examples of the various colors found in a particular photo?

    1. Thanks!! I use several, but the one I like the best is Color Explorer. There's also Whats Its Color and Kuler from Adobe. And lots more! I'm constantly discovering new ones.
