My Goals for January: The 3 in 30 Challenge Begins Again

(1) Finish my career plan for 2012. I am dreaming big long-range and need to finalize my plan and strategies for what I would like to accomplish in the next year....

I've gotten a really good start on this one! By the end of the year, I'm planning to create a signature seasonal color analysis system or program for women of color. I have a few other plans in the works, too.

(2) Identify other changes I would like to make this year. Carried over from last year is the desire to slow down, spend more time with family, drink more tea, get healthier, etc. I want to land on 3-5 goals to concentrate on for the year.

I have the goals in place, but not the plans or strategies. For instance, I need to determine exactly what that will mean for the way I spend my time. Stay tuned! :)

(3) Evaluate my deep autumn winter capsule wardrobe & identify what works, what doesn't, what needs to change. My plan is to fully live out my own natural style and create a plan for the year that does so, while evaluating what I am doing already. In order to do this, I need to actually get dressed more often. We'll see how it goes...

What I have been trying to do during this past week is pay more attention to what deep autumn and natural mean in terms of this-color-with-that-color and this-piece-with-that-piece. And also, hair and makeup. If I want them to support my look, what would that look like? It's been fun getting dressed!

How did your week go?

Warm Autumn:“This woman never pretends. She won’t say something just to flatter you unless she believes it to be true. She cries harder than anyone at a funeral. She is fiercely loyal to her family but will not spare them hard work or spoil them with extravagance. She may seem to absorb a lot of demands but when she draws the line at enough, everyone knows it.” ~~Christine Scaman, 12 Blueprints
