January Jumpstart: Week Two

January Jumpstart: Progress?...

How did you do last week? Were you able to clear out your closet and take out anything that doesn't support your color palette?

I did go through my closet, and since I am doing the deep autumn experiment this month, I took out the few pieces I thought might not be deep autumn colors and rearranged my closet into 30 deep autumn items to wear for this month.

January Jumpstart: Week Two...

The next step is to find the right level of contrast and create a wardrobe plan around it.

Depending on which season you are, you may need low, low-medium, medium, medium-high or high contrast in your outfits. Once you know which it is, you can put together a wardrobe plan so that each outfit replicates the level of contrast in your coloring.

See you next week!

Having trouble deciding which season you are? I'd be happy to help!
Start the process of finding your season by taking my
seasonal color analysis quiz

Warm Autumn:“This woman never pretends. She won’t say something just to flatter you unless she believes it to be true. She cries harder than anyone at a funeral. She is fiercely loyal to her family but will not spare them hard work or spoil them with extravagance. She may seem to absorb a lot of demands but when she draws the line at enough, everyone knows it.” ~~Christine Scaman, 12 Blueprints

  1. That quote is so me. I didn't know your color analysis went with personality, too.

  2. Hi Linda! I relate to that quote, too. And there are different theories about whether or not each season has a personality, but I believe they do.
