Holiday Capsule Wardrobe Ideas

Welcome to December!

Have you started thinking about what you'll wear to all the holiday parties and get-togethers?

Even if you are a write-at-home mom like me, you may want to create a casual holiday capsule so you still can celebrate the season in style. The thing to remember is to keep it simple! Pair new holiday tops or cardigans with neutral pieces you already have.

And stay within your season. There are plenty of options available for your coloring.

Here's a holiday capsule wardrobe I created on Polyvore to give you some ideas...

As for me, I won't be attending any holiday parties this year but will be using my holiday capsule for when I am out and about, when I am getting together with family, and when I head for church on Christmas morning.

My main concern is wearing Christmasy colors in a way that isn't tacky. Hopefully, the outfits I have planned will work!

I'm linking up this post with the ladies who are blogging around the Christmas tree. Join us! ...

Warm Autumn:“This woman never pretends. She won’t say something just to flatter you unless she believes it to be true. She cries harder than anyone at a funeral. She is fiercely loyal to her family but will not spare them hard work or spoil them with extravagance. She may seem to absorb a lot of demands but when she draws the line at enough, everyone knows it.” ~~Christine Scaman, 12 Blueprints
