December's Goals for 3 in 30: How Did Your Week Go?

(1) Accept people as they are even when they cannot be, do or say what I think I need and know I want. This is carried over from last month and hopefully, is working in the background, because I have not addressed it directly.

I did do some healing work on being bullied after watching Jonah Mowry's video & Jonathan's loving response video. (So maybe that's still a win?)

(2) Deepen my enjoyment of the holiday season by working half days, watching holiday movies and doing other fun holiday things.

This goal has been great! I have been able to stop early most days and hang out with my son. We've watched lots of things that we taped: holiday movies, holiday TV specials, etc. And sometimes, I just lit holiday candles and read a book.

(3) Continue to define and refine my developing system of seasonal color analysis for women of color. When I am working, this is the goal I want to focus my time and energy on this month.

This one is going very well, too! I think I am landing on 16 seasons, instead of 12, and am looking at different systems to see if I agree with the way they are defining them. This will be great for people who don't quite fit into the 12, so I'm excited!

How did you do this week?

Warm Autumn:“This woman never pretends. She won’t say something just to flatter you unless she believes it to be true. She cries harder than anyone at a funeral. She is fiercely loyal to her family but will not spare them hard work or spoil them with extravagance. She may seem to absorb a lot of demands but when she draws the line at enough, everyone knows it.” ~~Christine Scaman, 12 Blueprints

  1. I love your goals! I'm afraid after a month of only working half days that I wouldn't want to go back to working full days! I would want to just keep playing! LOL!
