Warm Autumn Outfit with Different Scarf: Which is Better?...

Notice the new scarf-as-necklace thing I'm doing? What do you think?

Warm Autumn:“This woman never pretends. She won’t say something just to flatter you unless she believes it to be true. She cries harder than anyone at a funeral. She is fiercely loyal to her family but will not spare them hard work or spoil them with extravagance. She may seem to absorb a lot of demands but when she draws the line at enough, everyone knows it.” ~~Christine Scaman, 12 Blueprints

  1. I'm not all that good with this sort of thing, so take this with a grain of salt, but I like the first scarf better. To me, it seems to pick up the color in the pants and to blend in with the outfit a little better.

  2. Hi Ann! Well, you know, after I looked at the pictures, I wasn't sure.

At the time, I thought adding the rich color of the 2nd scarf looked better, but I'm glad you think the first one looks good, too, because that means I can wear them both. And that was what I was trying to do was pick up the color from the rest of the outfit, so I'm glad it worked.

And it helps to have other eyes! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts, Ann.

  3. You need to do a post on folding scarves.... and I'll do one with all my blue shirts. :)

  4. Denise, how cool to see you here! It's wonderful that you have been visiting my blogs and commenting.

And hey, that's not a bad idea! I've seen some of the other bloggers who do tutorials, but since I am not the least bit crafty, never thought I would do one.

But I could do a post about how to fold a scarf to make a necklace out of it!

    Thanks for the idea :).
