3 in 30: My September Goals. How Did You Do This Month?

(1) Twenty Twenty September Fall Capsule Wardrobe: This month, I am hosting and participating in the Twenty Twenty September early fall capsule wardrobe challenge. My goal is to make sure they fit me as a soft autumn and honor my dressing your truth type 3 style.

Although we still have one more week to go, I would say I have done pretty well with both! I have learned a lot about my style from doing this challenge. I always do!

So last week, I asked everyone to vote on what I should wear to my friends' reception on Sunday afternoon. Here's what I chose...

What do you think? Did I do okay?

And here are a few more pics from the reception. I has SUCH a wonderful time!!! My favorite moments both involved dancing. One was the electric slide/cha cha slide/cupid shuffle trifecta and the other was when someone challenged one of my friends, Todd, half of the couple, to dance and he danced by himself.

I'm not sure which dance we were doing there, LOL!

That's me with Todd right after he and Bob got there and the next one is the couple, themselves, feeding each other cake...

(2) Create the Final Homeschooling Lesson Plans: I still have yet to create the actual lesson plans for the year, except for a very loose plan for September. So my goal is to get those lesson plans done once and for all!!

Nope. But I may go month-to-month because just in this month, so far, I have realized how much more math review we need than I thought we did.

(3) Create a Fall Jewelry Capsule: I have basically had to start over now that I know I am a dressing your truth type 3, and not only have I needed to replace A LOT of my clothes, but also need to need to replace almost all of my jewelry!

I could say I'm done. I certainly have "enough!" But I would like to have a gold necklace and a gold cuff to go with my gold earrings. And, of course, I continue to see other pieces that might just have to come home to me :).

How did you do this month?

“Too often, the expression of passion through quiet is misjudged to be low, but that’s not so. Leave flash to someone else. Believe that others fully sense the extreme physicality of understated heat. We feel so grateful for the absence of force that we give more of ourselves back. Nothing rattles our cage, no visual element is aggressive, not a single one. We feel less guarded or inhibited, more open to reveal, more receptive to consider, more willing to play, I’m not using these words by accident. Soft Autumn is the most smoothly sensual Season.” ~~Christine Scaman, 12 Blueprints

  1. You did exceptionally well in your autumn capsule. :) I have been slowly getting through all my goals for this month, hopefully I can finish most of them before it ends. :)

  2. Hi Easther! Thank you!! And good for you. I hope you will be able to get them done.
